One of Sonork’s most powerful features is WebApps, which are structured forms that send pre-formatted instant messages to users and/or a server. They are designed to interact with databases and the Sonork user db to collect, store, organize and disseminate information, creating extremely useful tools for consistent information management.

You can access sample WebApps (Bug Report, Suggestions) in the Applications tab of the Sonork public server. Running from a standard web server, WebApps pass session information between the IM and web services in much the same way MS Passport works. You can see this by the fact that the userID is listed on the form.

From simple WebApps such as a Purchase Request form that sends info to a database and the correct person(s) within an organization, to a more complex ticket system, intranet or integrated third-party applications, WebApps save time and money to generate substantial ROI from the day they are implemented.
